In this AU Josef is a Witcher and Gil is an Ailuranthrop (or Werecat).
They travel together, looking for Monsters and defending them.
When they met for the first time Josef thought that Gil is a monster (it was full moon and Gil lost his self conrole because of it, turning into a monsterous cat-like being), but Josef didn't kill Gil, because he realised that it's just a human under a curse. Gil followed Josef to thank him and somehow managed to join Josef in his adventures.
