● Reis is based off of RX J1131-1231, a supermassive-black-hole-containing quasar in the constellation of Crater. TDWSU Reis lived in the city of Crater nearly all of their life. They were pretty happy there although they caused a lot of harmless trouble (chasing livestock, playing pranks on other inhabitants, etc). In their late teens their Quasite mark appeared. Since Reis lived alone, no one really knew about it at first. Reis started to go out in public with a cloth cape that covered their chest to avoid being detected. This worked for a while until a group of bullies that picked on Reis every so often discovered it. Their harassment got worse with this, and it wasn’t until Reis was in their adulthood (equivalent of mid-late 20s) that they were chased out of Crater by the bullies as well as members of the city who disliked Quasites. Together they attacked Reis and they managed to eventually escape. They trekked through harsh terrain until they reached what looked like a camp, and then they collapsed.

● The next time they woke up they were being treated by Mirach, and a tall, imposing Hydrae stood in the corner; eyeing them considerably. After explaining themselves they were allowed to say as long as they helped around. Reis decided to stick around in Mirach’s health office and the two started flirting a bit and started falling in love. Hydrae was initially overprotective of their smaller husband but Reis worked their magic and Hydrae herself started falling for the idiot Quasite. They later come together to form a family unit, and are gifted two sons; Ulas and Ursae.

● Reis loved their children equally despite not being Ulas’ other parent. They were an incredible parent and Ulas and Ursae loved them dearly. Ulas and Ursae both miss them, although Ursae is less vocal about his emotions regarding Reis.

● Reis didn’t hate Hydrae when she attacked them. Although terrified, they understood why Hydrae did what she did. They never fought back. As Reis bled out next to Mirach’s body, they whimpered out a soft “I still love you, Hydie.” And with that, Hydrae’s world was gone.profile html by Hukiolukio
