Murakami is a quirky and reclusive graphic designer who works exclusively from home - some would describe him as downright creepy, but despite his naiveté and somewhat lacking social skills, he's generally gentle and well-meaning. He has some degree of renown in the art industry, having worked in fashion and advertising, and mostly goes by 'Murakami' as a handle. Ever since he got infected, his work has gotten slightly stranger and more colorful, and his relationship with his wife has definitely simmered down a degree. She brushes this off along with his shift in personality as a result of the incident, naturally. Murakami is definitely odd in his thinking, as he supports the Mignyan invasion despite his kind temperament - going by his logic that "it can help people". He would like to meet more people, but this effort proves difficult as he can only go outside during night-time (considerably wrapped up in layers of clothing), not to mention how nervous he gets thinking about his abnormal appearance and what others of his kind would think of him if they ever met. Having his brain on display isn't the most reassuring thing.
- His flesh is transparent.

- The pink blush with yellow lining is located at all of his extremities, similar to frostbite.
- His teeth are the same yellow as his eyes.
- The eyes on his back are bioluminescent and glow.
- His arm and leg flesh goes up to around his elbows and knees, respectively.
Originally a man who was out for dinner with his wife and got violently assaulted on their way home, in what was meant to be a robbery. Murakami got shot at by a 12 gauge sawed off, and while he attempted to protect his wife from the blast with his body as a shield, he ended up missing most of his head. This attempt however did not prove futile, as his wife was only blinded with no grievous bodily harm. The Mignyan crab watching this sordid affair unfold quickly jumped and latched onto Murakami’s brainstem, before the body was utterly destroyed, in an act of sympathy - to not cause further grief. Murakami cannot disguise his head nor any other part of his body, but as his wife is blind, she cannot tell the difference and assumes the texture of his skin is due to the scarring left from “miraculously” surviving the attack. Whilst Murakami now works solely from home for more obvious reasons, his wife says she fully understands due to thinking it’s because of his facial deformity… which it technically is.
