My first D&d character that I started playing in 2017 and is in an ongoing campaign covid ended our campaign and left it without an ending :’) So yeah his first campaign is over for good, but I still wanna rp with him so I migh enter another campaign with him...? I dunno, but I'll love him forever
Generally distrustful, smart and very kind if not rather quiet and standoffish, socially oblivious though, blunt to a fault. Doesn’t do crimes but sure can pull off stunts. He’s serious and hardworking but has a laidback energy to him, that or he just looks tired.
He’s a wildling/outlander, his family lives in a woody snowy mountain up north and has a bunch of four horned sheeps. Mama is superstitious and dabbles in occult + traditional medicine. He has an older sister that resents him because he left them, though they live peacefully. He values his family more than anything else, even so far away. He just has wanderlust in his bones. He’s rather lonely. Plays luth a lot to remind himself of home. Aroace, feels very alien, and I hate the word but broken.
He dual wields a short sword and a small-ish kanabo. He got a magic amulet that puts his weapons on fire for extra damage and a dagger that can freeze time but has a chance of killing him lmao. He’s not interested too much in that last one but he loves trophies so he keeps it, what would he do with a bunch of money anyway. Speaking of trophies, the boar hide he wears is from one he hunted and tanned himself, and the dragon tooth he wears as a necklace he was the one to defeat the beast (yes, in-campaign).
He started out as more of a physical & athletic thief, but after defeating a dragon and parting from his old party he's had plenty of time to learn magic, something he finds very interesting. He got possessed by a luth demon for a bit so an angel, an aquaintance, brought him to a demon fighting center-thingie, he fights demons and stuff to prove that he’s worthy of redemption and all. He really just wants to go home after the years he’s been away. He has main character energy

He was the mvp in a fight against a dragon,, when they were all level 3,, He rodeo'd on it and thus saved the party from having its full attention, oh and they/we killed it btw. It was a young & sick dragon but sTILL. Pre-magic
There's an undetermined break between seasons of our campaign here, in that time Grundur learns magic and his party changes.
So the party saved a village right, so they organised a big town party to celebrate. Grundur wanted to get a luth bc he loves luths and he'd be able to do a music battle with the party's bard, just for fun etc. So to find someone who's selling a luth, I had an advantaged roll. I roll a first time, and get a 1. I rolled a second time, and got a 1. Now Grundur has a demon luth that possesses him when he plays it and my boy keeps failing is intelligence rolls so he thinks everything's normal. Next day, we're trying to bust out a party member out of prison bc he got framed, so Grundur decided he'd play and sing on the plaza to keep the townspeople distracted while the others busted him out. Other party members get locked in the prison after attacking a guard lmao and they just, hear the town's bells and screams. After a while, the sounds stop, and grundur wakes up. In the middle of hundreds of corpses, a pentagram formed with guts on the wall. A lil' later an angel that had saved us one time in the past comes by and "You are coming with me to exorcism dimension my good sir."
Now with a new party, Grundur lives in the white tower where he gets sent on missions involving demons, like just killing them or in the case of our current plot, investigate who in a gigantic mansion is the demon/devil. Detective grundur saves the day bc oh gosh my party you’ll be the end of me

Appearance: Short super curly dirty blond hair, fair skin, he's got a boar hide as a hood and the things coming out of it are boar teeth, he's got a dragon teeth necklace too and a bronze amulet. Has a bunch of scars, cuts, electricity and acid burns mostly. Has a black wool vest over a dark grey cloth hoodie
