Chelsie is an angel. This does not, however, make her perfect. Though she does all the things angels do, and is generally a good influence for the most part, she is far more playful and mischievous than one would expect from an angel. It is quite easy to forget what she is when spending time with her, given the fact that she behaves so much like a normal person.

Background

Chelsie used to be an angel in the angelic archives from her home universe. She didn't like life there, mostly due to an awful record-keeping angel that had no regard for her comfort or opinions. She doesn't know how she was pulled to the multiverse level, and nobody can even find the timeline she's from, but she is very glad to be out of there. When another multiverse-level angel "helpfully" taught her about her true form, she was very shocked, and it took her a while to get over the realization that she was actually a sexless being that could take any appearance they want. In the end, after the identity crisis was over, she decided her old appearance and identity still fit her, and she identifies as a demigirl despite her true form's sexlessness.

Ancestry, magic, and shapeshifting

As an angel, Chelsie is able to receive prophecies. More often than not, they are warnings, what will happen if you do/don't do something, though occasionally they are simply events that will happen no matter what you do. They behave much more like biblical prophecies than the visions that one gets if they have some kind of future sight, and are rather infrequent. Though typically these prophecies are quite important, for some strange reason, occasionally she receives prophecies about very mundane things with no lasting consequences. Not even she is sure why this happens, but every angel with this power reports it having happened now and again. As an angel, she can shapeshift to appear as just about any species and any imaginable person, as long as there is a halo and an extra pair of white, feathered wings. She also has access to her "true form," a pure-white, anthroporphic winged cat.

Xain [ Mentor ]

Chelsie was not originally the most receptive to Xain's guidance. But, in time, the bettered quality of life that control over her powers offered led her to appreciate the lessons he taught, and in time she became quite a capable angel.

Kokabiel [ Friend ]

Though Kokabiel can come across as grumpy, Chelsie enjoys her company and appreciates someone that can understand her feelings as an angel, even if an angel from another deity.
