Conrí Cassidy

Conri is sweet, cheery, carefree, and always full of energy. He’s always got pep in his step, to the point that he can regularly be seen bouncing around instead of walking. He does his best to put a smile on every face he sees. Unfortunately, he still doesn’t really understand how people work, and can come across as pushy or obnoxious in his attempts. He also tends to misunderstand other people’s words or intentions; an insult might fly right over his head, or well-meaning advice might sound like an attack, which is especially unfortunate, because he tends to hold a grudge!

Conri, true to his origin, is hard-headed. He refuses to be swayed on Anything once he’s made his mind up, which doesn’t take long. He’s also naive, and tends to trust the first piece of information he receives on any given subject, which he then tends to assume he is an expert on. He can also just generally be sort of a brat. He’s figured out that if he’s cute and sweet -- which is in his nature to begin with -- he can usually get what he wants, and when he’s denied he either makes a stink about it or simply pouts. He also doesn’t have much of a filter, and doesn’t really understand that other people Do.

Despite all his eccentricities, Conri is actually fairly laid-back. It takes a great offense to truly end up on his bad side, and one can easily undermine his stubbornness with something sugary. If you also offer him something soft, then all is instantly forgiven. He loves the outdoors, especially when he has a good snack to enjoy it with. He spends his free time burning off excess energy hopping around the wilderness, unless he finds a particularly nice patch of sunshine, which he will instantly claim for a nice toasty nap.

Conri was just an average sheep, once upon a time. They’d lived their life simply; snacking around the countryside, sticking with their flock, maybe getting a few springs in every now and then. Then, one day, they very suddenly realized that they were So Very Bored. So they popped into one of those weird things that liked to steal their wool every now and then, just for kicks! Then they bolted, because it turns out that sheepdogs Really don’t like it when weird humans suddenly appear amidst their flock.

Conri was eventually wrangled by their fellow fey, and had some Extremely Boring concepts explained to them, and worked to integrate into society. They spent another six years on the isle, trying to figure out the whole Human Interaction thing, before they decided that they were Bored again. They took what money they’d earned and shipped themselves to the mainland. They spent eight years wandering around Europe, learning a little here and there, but mostly just enjoying new sights and experiences.

At least four of those years were just Conri being stubborn and refusing to admit that they were terribly homesick. They did, eventually, decide that they’d been gone long enough to strut back into town without looking like some sort of fool, and ran back as quick as they could.
