. personality

Roach is a clever and intuitive mare that offers no hesitation following commands, and responds eagerly to learning both cues and party tricks. Her excellent trainability has earned her a reputation for showing off her skills to the stable grooms, in exchange for far too many treats. Thankfully, she burns everything she eats, both on the track and off of it. Her energy is almost supernatural, and it takes far longer than it should for her to burn out running laps around the field. One thing to note is that although she learns quickly, she doesn't adjust well to changes in routine. Suddenly throwing her off her game with a jockey she's never had before will cause her to falter in her performance, or at least that's the theory as to why she only races well for Nikolai. Either way, both of them seem fine with the exclusive arangement, and she does well with her usual team of exercise riders and handlers. As the saying goes, why mess with perfection?
