I love the fact that he can be a manipulative person, but be can genuinely nice and loving! He's just been wanting the spotlight of the TV world for so long that he would do anything to have it. Even with selling his soul for it!
"Do you think I could be a movie star?!" Squealed the little girl, staring into the tv's blank screen. She sat up from the sitting position She was in, then posed dramatically, and let out a sarcastic yell as she did so. She was attempting to be screaming for help...? After being completely dramatic for about another 2 minutes, she turned back to the screen.
"How was that? Can I qualify?" Her blue eye lit up. "Can I be a child star? A game show host?" She smiled brightly. "I want to become rich and famous just like your workers!" Oh boy.
"Whoa Nelly, kid! Calm it down!" Mr. TV clamped his hands over where his ears would have been. Any louder and the screen might have cracked! "Listen here, kid, I'm not working wit--" He paused. Lately any shows or movies directed at a kid demographic had been dominated by the Smittyland people, including that freak, Cor. If Mr. TV could create the ultimate kid star, then he could finally stand on equal footing...
He looked back down at Peaches, putting a fist where his chin would have been, as if observing her. "Hmm. Maybe you've got the stuff," he muttered more to himself than to her. "Alright, kid, I'll give you a shot. I'll send you to some acting classes and we'll see how you handle them first, 'kay? And, uh, give this business card to your parents. I'll hash out all the details with them."
