Singe

Singe is an astetian hailing from feral territory in the middle east. After the disappearance of his pride in a spike of rift activity, he was resettled near Cairo by the Rationale. He's since moved away from the city, claiming a junkyard filled with wrecked airplanes as his home.

He's a hobbiest airboarder- someone who builds and flies hoverboards cobbled together from alien technology. He's not so much mechanically minded as he is one of the Terrani who developed a "savant skill" from significant rift exposure.

Singe works retrieval for the Rationale on a casual basis- getting a risky job securing an anomalous artefact every other month or so. His job brought him into contact with Ngaigara Guyanderra, who he looks up to and seeks to emulate (much to the dismay of their superiors). It's also how he met his now girlfriend, Tep- a fennec fox who lost her family in a similar manner.
