- 🪐 First 🛡️ - (🐾 Pet!First 🐾)

This AU is a major WIP, and I plan on it being one of the main AUs for Somnio and will eventually have it's own story.

This AU sees Day, First, and X as hamsters in a local rescue/petshop. The three go on adventures to help other animals who enter the petshop get adopted and find their forever home.

All OCs in this are redesigned completely to look more like "natural pets", with minimal unnatural colors and no magical or outlandish design traits. Magic is not a thing in this AU, but instead there is modern technology! AU does not have a specific date or location in which it takes place in as of now, but it is implied they life in America in modern day.

AU is meant to be uplifting and hopeful, as well as very cute and quaint. The colors in the setting and props are more pastel <3

Story and artstyle was heavily inspired by Hamtaro. It was also inspired story-wise by the LPS show, Wonderpets, and Secret Life of Pets.

• BASIC OC INFO •  "First is a more serious hamster who, alongside Day and X, help pets get adopted. She's the strong one, and is really tough for her size-- though sometimes she's a bit too brave, and forgets she is just little a hamster. "

OTHER:
• First does not have clothes in this AU. •

• First's hair is not blue in this AU, instead being a more natural color. •

• Very few characters stay at the Petshop for a long period of time, with Day, First, and X being the main three who are not for adoption but are owned by the store owner. Calcifer is the other character who makes consistent appearances in the story, though this is not because he is the owner's pet but rather nobody wants to adopt him and he refuses the three's help. • 

• Though in her normal form First is a canine, in this AU she is a small hamster. •
