Suga Katayanagi

Serious, Easily annoyed, Dependent, Controlling, Responsible, Dutiful, Stoic, Possessive 

Suga is a simple man. He's not particularly spectacular in any way. He's devoted to his family and his duties to them. Suga is stoic and doesn't like to be read. He's surprisingly dependent on others, and he doesn't want to be. He doesn't like being alone for too long except for when out fishing.

Suga is from a small fishing village outside of Kyoto. His family is a long line of fisherman that serves to the richer section of the family. His father, Hirofumi, was always jealous of the rich main family, and one day after visiting the main family, Hirofumi came home with someone new, Sachiko . Suddenly out of the blue, their little family became more successful. His father was able to take an early retirement. Sachiko became a part of the family, and Suga had to put up with Sachiko's big personality for years while he watched his father slowly wither away while also losing their newly found fortune to his gambling addiction. 

When his father became ill, Suga was tasked with watching over for Sachiko and making sure he didn't cause any trouble. After all their time together as Suga kept an eye out for him, they actually became very close and practically inseparable. Sachiko was unable to refuse his father's request to keep Sachiko in the family, but he was reluctant at first. It took him a while to learn to get used to Sachiko's company, and he eventually began to rely on it, as he was no longer able to rely on his bedridden father. 

Suga works hard to prevent his father / family from going into further ruin. His father took loans out from loan sharks, and Suga is determined to pay them back, and Sachiko swore to help him.

• Used to love fishing but does not find the same joy in it anymore
• Has a grudge against all yakuza regardless of group and wants revenge on the loan sharks who took advantage of his father 
• Very sensitive to heat and always carries a fan with him
• Calls Sachiko "Chiko" 
• Has never been far from his village before being partnered with Sachiko
