- Ignaris appears to be a tall young man with wild, spiked red hair that swoops towards the right side of his head. In reality, his hair and platform boots are responsible for giving him the appearance of being tall. Without his shoes he stands at about five foot seven inches, something he is rather touchy about. His large eyes are multicolored, blue and pink, and are typically half-lidded making him appear almost sleepy. Most notable are his front teeth,larger and more prominant than the rest with a slight gap between the two, a feature that has earned him the nickname of 'Bunny' by close friends. His skin is pale and relatively unmarked except a series of bad scars across his back - two horizontal slashes across the middle of his back and a larger one at the center that appears to look as if it were from a blast of some kind. Iggy is slender and toned, with some muscle definition from working out and training though it is not that noticible beneath his clothes.
Aside from his footwear, Iggy tends to dress appropriately for travel though he often does lean towards the more fashionable end of 'travel clothes'. He is fond of layers and multi-toned color combinations. He prefers to stick to reds, purples, greys, and blacks with an occasional color pop of a much lighter color, typically white. He always wears a black choker around his throat with a red gemmstone at the center, when he begins to use magic the gemstone 'blossoms' into a glittering rose and will remain that way until Iggy is either out of magic or has stopped using it. He also has his ears pierced, two on either ear. On his left ear he has one helix piercing and one lobe. He will put a cuff on his helix typically, and on his lobe he will wear a stud with a red gemstone rose similiar to the one around his neck - except this one does not respond to his magic. On his right ear he has three helix piercings and two lobes. The helix piercings tend to consist of a cuff and two small rings that may or may not link to the simple studs on his lobe. When he is able, he tends to paint his nails, red or black are his go-to colors.

Iggy's whole world collapsed in on itself that day - the day the Floating City of Skaia was destroyed. It was the day he lost nearly his entire family, though it was the death and cremation of his older brother and mentor, Tidghe, that broke him.
He felt directly responsible for their deaths - having dreamed about the event for months prior - so he knew he could not go home to his sister and best friend, Subaru. He did not know how to face her, and even worse was the fact that he could not make sense of the events in his head.
Ignaris needed to understand. He needed answers. He needed to fix things, if he could.
So there was only one thing for him to do - set off on his own and unravel the mysterious that haunt him.

They met by chance in the Kingdom of Corona during the festival for the lost princess. He had come to the world following a lead on the mysterious woman he had overheard his mentor call 'Ophelia', impersonated one of the guards, and kept an eye out for any signs of Heartless or Ophelia assuming that this would be the perfect occasion to pull something treacherous. He was milling about the rest of the guard, fishing for clues here and there when he was approached by a handsome man covered in bandages and a flop of brown hair swept over one eye. He introduced himself as Edge and that one chance encounter tumbled into several more encounters. Each one he learned a little more about the charming, clumsy boy and his two companions and their mission. On occasion they compared notes, but Iggy always left in the middle of the night setting off once again on his quest for answers and revenge. Things might have continued this way until their paths finally drew apart if not for the day Iggy faced an old friend, Iliya - now claiming to be named Yxaili, came for him as he was hunting Ophelia. In his horror he was outmatched and might have been killed had Edge not swooped in at the last minute saving his life and chasing off his old friend. He woke up later, sore, but alive and banadaged. The first face he saw was Edge, and later when he suggested again that they team up Iggy did not refuse. Each of their encounters had been peppered with flirting and shy smiles, something that only increased in frequency as they finally started to travel together. For a while nothing seemed to come of it, until one night when Iggy's nightmare's came back in full force. it was not until he calmed down, several hours later, that he realized Edge was there - wrapped around him and holding him tightly as if he could shield him from danger. It was at that moment Iggy realized something that should have been so obvious to him before. He would follow Edge to the edge of the world or the deepest parts of hell if that is where the boy's journey led them. He was in love.
