- Due to the torture and trauma he ensued at the hands of the kingdom and their mages, he was stuck in an awkward in-between phase of dog and dragon. Eventually, with the help of valkyrie and a little bit of magic, he was freed from this state and can now shift freely, though there is a slight tenderness now and then.
- Having been separated from his parents, and his kind, in general, he grew up without knowing the prophecies/culture of the dragons. The human kingdoms had tried so desperately to hide these, leaving Husk surprised and in denial to discover he, alongside Val, played an active part in it. He didn't even know he could shift into a humanoid form until he read it and learned how to do so.

Husk is a gentle spirit and a natural-born leader, much unlike the stereotype for dragons. He's a benevolent king, even if it came unexpectedly. Husk has always been kindhearted and generous and takes pride in helping others to the best of his abilities, all while asking for nothing in return. He's diplomatic and calculated, wanting to talk things through instead of letting emotions or instinct dictate the situation. However, despite being warm and reserved in nature, he's far from passive. He's not afraid to be stern where he needs to be and fights smarter as opposed to harder.
Due to being scorned in the past, he had a hard time letting people in. Deep down he worries about hurting those that love him or getting hurt himself. It was meeting Valkyrie (again) that brought his walls down and allowed him to be less guarded. Through fire and flames, the two were able to rebuild both the world they lived in (and their relationship along the way). He owes Valkyrie his life and promises to always be by his wife's side, forever and always.
