Alistair

If the concept of evil had a tangible form, it would be Alistair. 

Other chitters avoid interacting with him, a feeling similar to unease hanging in the air wherever he went. The fact was he didn't seem to really have any moral compass at all. Alistair is extremely manipulative and crass, playing weak or vulnerable to lure others into a false sense of security before striking and taking what he needs.

His entire modus operandi revolves around sustaining himself and himself only. He will do anything it takes to deprive others of their resources and take it all for himself. He will drag out painful situations to the full extent that he can to reap emotional harvests and gorge himself. Unlike other chitters, he has zero interest in becoming emotionally closer to his counterpart or to humans in general - he feels himself an elevated being and the freedom of not experiencing attachment to any particular emotion fuels his ego. His only purpose passing through the veil being to take advantage of the naive and gullible. 

Possibly, under it all, he may have some sense of love. How it stands though, it's nearly impossible to bring it out.

• His horn acts as a lightning rod. It's one of the ways he can charge up his energy quickly versus passively absorbing the energy released by lightning storms + emotions. 
• In his low energy form he is relatively lethargic and slow to react. He can still function fine, but he is a real threat when his energy is at it's peak.

• Having no particular alignment to any emotion, he's particularly fond of negative emotions. Fear in particular, it tastes almost sweet.
