Gero

Gero has no memory of what life was like before he was given to the god of the stars, Merahil, and submerged into their madness and lust for power over eternity. When the stars fell, he did as well, falling into a deep slumber in one of their abandoned temples while Merahil's physical being was torn asunder by the death god, Aunath, and thrown to the skies. This slumber allowed time for his shackled mind to slowly free itself from Merahil's dying whispers, the fading influence of madness, and many, many years later he woke as adventurers entered the temple he once stood guard over so many thousands of years ago. Even in death, though, Merahil's influence is felt...in an effort to free himself completely from it and in an effort to become truly mortal again, Gero has joined these adventurers to end the cries of the stars once and for all.

Design Notes/Fun Facts:
-Gero's eyes are bright in the darkness, like stars in their own right.
-His weapons of choice are spears and glaives.
-His left arm basically has a magic gauntlet, created for him by Merahil to allow him to shield himself and attack even when he has no other weapon.
-He's too proud to admit that he feels utterly lost and confused by the changes in the world since he was last conscious,
