Peikoe

Peikoe is a male Sima with the average build and height of a wolf. He has a speckled pink nose and paw pads, ribbed and pointy ears, short light tan hair. His eyes have pale yellow sclera with subtle heterochromia; his left eye is dark red, his right eye is a slightly lighter shade of red. He has a large single curved dual-colored red horn and a warrior tail jewel; they emit small sparkles - even more so when he uses magic. They glow at night. The tail jewel can be used similar to a small sword or blade. Nearly all of his body is short-furred, with the exception of his cheek fluff, ears, leg feathers, haunches, and tail tip. His fur is a very light cream in color with some light tan and red speckles over his face, neck, shoulders, legs, and tail. The tips of his ears, toes, and tail guard are tan, with the ear tips being made up of three shades.

Due to his albinism, Peikoe suffers from sensitivity to bright lights and has slightly dulled hearing. He sunburns easily and avoids going out in full sun. His eyesight, however, remains just fine.

Peikoe doesn't wear many accessories or clothing, since he doesn't like weighing himself down with useless junk. When he's working, he carries around only a small bag of tools and his sword.

During winter, he wears warmer clothing, like coats and scarves to make up for his general lack of fur. It keeps him from freezing.

If he goes outside during the day, he'll wear a pair of sunglasses or a hat to protect his sensitive eyes.

In anthro, Peikoe wears casual and sometimes traditional clothing. When he's doing assassin work, he'll wear his assassin outfit and carry blades.

Peikoe has colorchanging powers and rarely uses it during fights.

Peikoe currently resides in Shihara Village where he runs the local teahouse. He serves a variety of teas, some coffee, and plenty of sweet and savory snacks. During lunch time, he offers small meals from the menu, but this is the only time the teahouse serves any kind of meal. The teahouse has a good reputation among the villagers and gets customers daily.

Peikoe's bedroom is located on the second floor of the teahouse. The only way to access it is via the stairway behind the counter. Peikoe doesn't allow anyone behind the counter besides his assistant and a few acquaintances.

The teahouse acts as a front for his actual business: an assassin's guild. The entrance to the underground guild is only accessible via secret passages located behind the main counter and in the storage room.

Only a few individuals know about this secret side of the teahouse. They are often members and are always advised to enter at less busy times to avoid suspicion.

When Peikoe was born, the villagers believed that he was a bad omen and sometimes even a demon reborn. He quickly adapted to his childhood nickname, though, and he later took it as his in-training name under his father, who was an assassin and headmaster of the guild.

Peikoe became the next headmaster after his father was killed through a poisoning incident from a rival clan.
