Derrick Ossuary

A (Fairly) normal human boy who is just doing his best to look after his best friend Ayla and their weird gang of misfits. Cursed to be haunted by Lilli, although it's much more of a blessing than a curse. She later detaches from Derrick to instead haunt their friend Eve.

Eventually gains power over rune magic due to his family's inscribing on him and his eldritch mystic eyes, allowing him to mimic eldritch abilities of creatures (or people) he's gotten close to. Also a trained knight who uses a tower shield exclusively and is much more of a tactician than a fighter. Caring, thoughtful and careful, Derrick is a friend to many and has come a long way from being the nervous little boy he was at the start. Also in a loving relationship with Ayla.
