You could call Selene a lot of things... a powerful occultist, a shyster looking to make a quick buck, a mysterious girl from another time...but she prefers you use the name of MADAME MIDNIGHT, Gaea's premier spiritual occultist...master of the paranormal. As a displaced Dainty who found herself in the world of Gaea through a trip with a traveling circus, Selene now makes a living in Naptha City, playing up her mysterious role and holding seances and giving occult advice to the people of a world absolutely swimming in gods, ghosts and magic...even when there's nothing actually there. A gossip, socialite, and braggart in her own right, she's recently found a pretty good living among the members of Naptha's various gangs, playing a neutral party to the more supersitious gangsters about, and spending time with some of her close friends.
