TOS - Terms of service

By contacting me for a commission, you are agreeing to these terms. Any changes made will be dated at the bottom.

All commissions, art trades and requests follow these terms unless agreed on in writing elsewhere.

General terms/Other

I reserve the right to decline any commission request with no questions asked.

These terms are for non-commercial use. For commercial work, new terms will be negotiated.

Upon request, a transparent background version can be requested when discussing details. After sketch stage, this option is no longer available if not discussed.

Removal of signature is prohibited without credit elsewhere in cases of cropping for layouts.

Copyright and Usage Policy

You can:

Image can be posted and modified anywhere as long as VentisetteStars is credited for the image. This includes cropping for icons or layouts.

The commission is for your personal use only.

You agree not to sell commissioned art for profit if transferring the character to a new owner.

To use for something other than personal use, it can be discussed in private for updated terms.

I can:

I reserve the right to include completed commission in my portfolio and online galleries.

I reserve the rights to include the commissioned piece and process images in printed materials such as, but not limited to, printed sketchbook compilations or art books. If used, there will be credit mentioned.

I will not use the image for individual sales.

Payment

Payment will be sent by invoice through Paypal

Payment will be in USD

I reserve the right to adjust pricing for more complex commissions. This will be discussed before the invoice is sent.

Process

Drafting will begin once payment is received.

Rough draft will be sent in thumbnail or sketchy state. This would be the stage to point out any major changes for character design, background, or overall layout of image.

Full-sized image will be sent with smaller image posted to social media

Edits or Changes

Major adjustments or changes are not included in price after sketch stage for omitted information or missing reference information. Edits can be made later for an additional charge.

If anything is missing from my end that was stated in reference, corrections will be made with no extra charges. Traditional commissions do not qualify for adjustments or changes once inked.

Canceling and Refund Policy

All commission under $50 (base price) does not qualify for changes or adjustments after completion unless there is clearly missing details stated in the information provided.

All work is non-refundable.
