Philos

For the majority of his life, Philos never saw himself as much more than a humble village shepherd following in his father Metrophanes's footsteps. One night, when he chances upon the fleeing Egyptian priestess Itaweret and her brother Bek, he finds himself compelled to aid their quest---especially given his discovery that they share common enemies with his father. Of course, it helps that Philos has been smitten with Itaweret the moment he laid eyes on her, even if she is reluctant to accept his advances.

Oh, and he also has a pet lion named Xiphos who helps him with his shepherding work.
