Dhulvan's Links
Archer is brainwashed, dense, and absolutely exhaustingly bright and loud. Van takes great pride in getting him to shut his trap and think before opening his mouth. He's nasty because he can get a rise out of him. He's annoying, aggravating, and despite that, Van has no desire to see him dead. He just wants him to think for himself and behave as a person, and not as a title. After all, Archer seems to represent all of the stigmatizing and regulation that plagues the most of established society to some extent, and all that Van truly loathes.
In terms of first impressions, Archer finds Dhulvan unpleasant. He's dealt with worse, though, granted, all of the 'worse' had been Sciyrs and humans. Dhulvan's need to insult his country can really get under his skin, sometimes.
Eurus is irritatingly nice, but Van is able to sort of twist him around however he wants it seems. So he can't be too bothered by him. At least he's willing to see his side of the argument more often than not. His hero complex is aggravating and drives Van up a wall, but he deals with it. A part of him finds it hilarious when he stumbles and struggles, but despite this he'd not let him fall.
Dhulvan is nicer than he wants anyone else to think. But Eurus is sure he's simply trying to find his place in things, and that's okay- afterall, not everyone is born with the luxury. He's quite interesting to listen to, and has kindof a witty sense of humor- even if it's dark sometimes.
Van may seem agitated and hard to deal with a lot of the time, but Aukchrok always tries to look past that to what he's actually feeling. She thinks if she keeps a calm exterior around him, that might rub off on him one day. Nevertheless, he's one of her boys and will try to defend him to the best of her abilities.
