He's not a fremblem OC, if anything he'd be a D&D character since he and his husband were inspired by an ancient AD&D(?) book that I can't recall the precise title of (it was meant to support dragon PCs). My aesthetic choices are just heavily influenced by a steady diet of Fire Emblem as a teen.

(The surname that is likely what made you think that is just a case of unfortunate coincidences, I had forgotten that Loptous was named after the same giant Yurian's surname is taken from. It's entirely possible I latched onto that specific spelling of the name for subconscious association reasons, but it wasn't a deliberate reference.)
