    Kale is a meman living in Aquinous living on his own, however he once was living under his family's roof. Growning up the house felt quite stressful compared to other homes, not because of money or anything financial but rather in terms of their morals and traditions. It wasn't until high school when he began to feel different, not just compared to his parents and him wanting to do the same things they've been doing for years, but also compared to other students around him. He thought at first that it was just the fact that he would often try to bake his own meals for school, but later realized it was the fact that he was developing feelings towards the merpeople of the same gender. To dabble in this feeling to see if it was true, he began seeing if other people felt the same way and to his surprise he was able to find the same kind of people but also ended up getting a date with a merman though one more nervous than he was.

    It would be years of both practice and determination to be a leading man in the relationship as well as to feel more comfrotable in this romantic atmoshpere with the merman. His feelings finally sinked and stuck to him when he got his first kiss at 18, finally accepting his feelings for people. He felt so excited to tell someone but then realized it might be wise to keep it a secret for a little longer, one far away from his parents as they were looking for a place to help get Kale in the same degree they got. Time went, as his date would leave him when he no longer felt as passionate towards other mermen as he was, he focus just on passing and getting out out the school for good. Once he graduated and some time had pass, he decided to tell his parents about how he truly feels, about him being gay.

    This would be a mistake he would avoid again in the future, as his parents were far from tolerant towards his decision. As they yelled and be little him for "not thinking of the family first," he was feeling so far disconnected from his family than ever before. The summer months would prove to be the most difficult, as comments and sharp looks from his folks kept making him feel like crap, making matters worse was all his past friends were just too busy to hang out with him. During the last few days of summer, he decided to take as much as he can, gather all the money he kept and got from selling his stuff, and just snuck out and left his home while determine to make is own living without the influence of his parents.

    After cutting off his long hair, he started hiding and avoiding anything that would take him back to his folks. He began looking for and got some jobs related to cooking, baking, anything related to him using his baking talents. It took many long hours for him to gain trust and enough money to get a descent place to live for a while. After a while, the search for him faded and he was able to having his own life stress-free of his unaccepting parents. Years later, he ended up opening up his own bakery, while offering smoothies and other delicious treats. A once stressful life has become more comfortable, now he's able to live the life he wants rather than the life he was told to have.

    Tl;dr - Kale was a person who discovered he was gay and unaccepted by his own family. After he left them, it took him years before being able to make a comfortable living and soon ended up owning his own shop
