Personality: Easy to anger and doesn’t exactly have a healthy way to cope with it, causing him to lash out when angry. A bit of the vengeful type, but isn’t that hard to get along with. Loves to crack jokes and pull pranks, granted those have time down over the years. Is very intelligent and a decent tactician, however, most of his plans usually involve someone being bait, something he volunteers a lot for. Hates his parents, unlike his older brother and sister, Anna May and Axel-Ray. Loves aquatic life of all times and wanted to be a marine biologist and get into conservation of aquatic wild life before the Collapse had happened. Cares ferociously for his siblings and friends and will do anything to protect them. Is a huge flirt and doesn’t really hide when he’s interested in someone. Although his nick name isn’t the best one, he likes it much better than his actual name cause he feels like it’s less ridiculous.

Story: Crusty was born in Montana with his two older siblings. As a child, he got in trouble a lot at school and at home, trying to get the attention from his uncaring parents, who only seemed to have eyes for Anna May. He secretly resented her too, for a while, but as he got older, he realized that it wasn’t her fault their parents were like that, especially with how emotionally abusive they were to his sister. In high school, he discovered a passion for science and an interest in the ocean, deciding on a career he knows he would enjoy. He ended up hating his parents around then after they kicked out their daughter, and his rebellious streak with them grew worse. He moved out the day he turned 18 to live with his older brother Axel-Ray, and the two of them kept in contact with their older sister, who lived in a county nearby. Crusty graduated High school and was in college when the events in FC5 went down. He and Axel tried to get into Hope County with no luck, and were forced to take shelter when the Collapse came. The two of them left after a couple months to get to Hope County where they met Mary May in Falls End. Crusty grew to admire her and grieved when she ultimately died of radiation exposure. Crusty was the most determined of him and his brother to find Anna May, and when news of New Eden first reached his ears, he went to their compound himself to search for answers. After being turned away multiple times, he had to give up going into the compound itself and instead, would look for lone patrols to question, coming up with almost no answers to his missing sisters wearabouts. At the Highwaymen’s arrival, Crusty got captured on his and his brothers escape to Prosperity, and he was dragged along by the Twins all across Hope County, until he was able to escape thanks to the unintentional help of the peggies. Crusty became lost in the woods, on his own, unable to discern any outpost from the Scavengers or the Highwaymen’s. He was found by Tammy and Wheaty, half starved, and joined them to build their own small resistance group. With the three of them, they took back the Marina, giving the Scavengers another stronghold. When he found of his sisters death, he was furious and became set on making Joseph answer for his crimes. Even though he will wait out the war before doing so, he has not forgotten his threat, even with the growing cooperation between the Scavengers and New Eden. Crusty was called to Prosperity by Kim with axel-Ray and was overjoyed with his sisters arrival, although angry at first that she hid that she was alive from them at first. After the ordeal with the Highwaymen, Crusty goes around Hope County helping various outposts rebuild, although he takes the time to go visit a certain Captain in Prosperity.
