Anwell was abandoned by his family when he was a baby and he grew up in an orphanage. He loved the people around him, but an unfortunate incident happened. The orphanage was on fire and no one knows what started it, but Anwell ran away from the orphanage, not knowing where he was going. All he thought about was to get out alive no matter what. As soon as Anwell stopped to catch his breath, he realized he ended up deep in the woods. Surviving in the woods wasn't easy since Anwell didn't bring anything with him. He had nothing to eat or materials. He had to drink from a river and no matter how unpleasant it was to live in the woods, Anwell didn't know where to go. He felt hopeless aimlessly wandering around the woods. He was only 11 years old and had to figure things out by himself without a guide.

One day, Anwell decided to go drink water at a river as usual, when a huge bear behind him suddenly started chasing after him. Anwell ran for his life and tripped on a rock. He tried his best to get up as fast as he could, but the bear managed to catch up and scratched the small boy's chest. Anwell passed out from that moment, thinking this was how he was going to go out. However, Anwell woke up in a bright clean room, and as he looked around his surroundings, he noticed the medical supplies next to him. He couldn't sit up properly as the pain in his chest made him unable to move. An older man with elf ears entered the room and greeted the young boy. He introduced himself as the Elf king and explained how he found the young boy.

The man and his comrades were hunting in the woods and Anwell passed out on the ground with the bear still close to his body. They immediately shot the bear dead and checked to see if Anwell was breathing. Afterwards, the man's comrades patched up Anwell and hurried to their kingdom to get him treated properly. Anwell felt incredibly grateful that they went out of their way to do that for a mere human. Then the man went on to say that Anwell can start living in his kingdoom and without hesitation, the young boy agreed to live in their place. And so, that's when Anwell started living in the Elf kingdom. At first, the elves were hesitant to trust the human since they aren't very trusting of his kind. However, Anwell proved to be a loyal human by continuing to help them with chores and training. He even got along with king's children. Anwell officially became one of their butlers and assassins when he turned 18. Everyone in the kingdom are thankful for his kindness and loyalty, so they treated him as if he was their kind.
