About

Kawaguchi Tsubasa tries to make two things as clear as he physically can-- he is here to help you, and he is your friend. Tsubasa, at heart, is a considerate and kind soul, able to take the bullet time and time again for others who need the protection. Often, he could be considered easily gullible, though it's not exactly right-- not to say his trusting nature isn't a huge flaw in that big soft heart of his, but assuming the trusting nature is unintentional, a natural part of him. Tsubasa actively chooses to trust again and again, even after his trust has been broken again and again. As he puts it, "he'd rather be there the one time the cry of wolf is real, than assume it's fake and hurt something valuable in the process." This, however, does not make the sting of betrayal any less impactful, and for Tsubasa, negative emotions hit very, very hard. Impulsive to a fault, Tsubasa's anger hits like a firetruck-- literally. He often has something akin to dizzy spells at the slightest provocation, where instead of suddenly woozy, he becomes suddenly intensely aggressive, physically and mentally. This, accompanied with his rule stickler shenanigans, and his need to make sure his mind and thoughts are heard in just about any situation, tends to lead to a good group of people finding him irresponsible, or too aggressive and short fused to properly hold a real space in office. He's ultimately kind, considerate, short fused, and almost obsessively ambitious. It's rare to not find the boy working, or writing, or learning. He knows the school's legal system and the government's like the back of his hand. He could, and for certain has, written thousands upon thousands of papers on exactly both subjects, and how to make it better, friendlier, and easier for those without his familiarity to get into it. He's rather family oriented as well, finding his father to be the biggest inspiration in his life to date, as well as astounded by his mothers sheer willpower. He aspires to do good by them, and to do good for the Kawaguchi family name.

Background

Kawaguchi is the name of a young upstart politician, who became heavily scandalized when he not only slept with the enemy parties secretary, but also married her, naming their son Tsubasa. This near binge trashy drama scandal tended to keep him just within the council, close to a real handle to do what he wants, but too far away to get to do everything he really wanted. These dreams, unintentionally, followed into their son, who had an avid interest in following in his fathers footsteps, and surpassing him. However, as Tsubasa grew older and older, the family noticed... A strange pattern in Tsubasa's behaviour. When the baby would cry out of fuss, he'd scream until his voice went hoarse and bite down on any trying to console him-- as a young toddler, he'd yell and shout and break all his toys and punch. And, as a young boy, he broke a little girls arm after brutally throwing her to the ground. His parents were unsure how to handle this predicament, sending Tsubasa away to the Young Boy's Academy for Misbehaving Children, hoping proffessionals could help solve whatever was wrong with their normally sweet boy. The Academy wasn't exactly used to someone like Tsubasa, seeing his cheery outlook and eagerness to help-- he even started and ran a student council group, aimed to help better the school. It wasn't until they found the boy in a fit of rage, having beaten another students face into a lack of recognition. Alarmed and frightened, Tsubasa's teachers made the executive decision to send the boy to a psych ward, with him still practically foaming at the mouth. However, just as usual, that rage heavy in his heart quieted down, and the psych ward, unsure how to help him just yet, let him go, offering the boy some antidepressants as perscription. Back at the Young Boy's Academy for Misbehaving Children, Tsubasa took his place helping student council again. However, due to those aggressive outburts, nobody could quite trust him as a leader anymore, the President now Vice President. He still, did excellent, almost impossibly well work-- writing and reforming anything he could within the school. This, of course, the founding of a student council, and single handedly carrying it despite the prominent status of president, is what has made Tsubasa elligable for SHSL Student Council Vice President.

Notes

• His parents got him a stress ball one year for his birthday. He broke it almost a few days after from pressing down on it too hard in a fit of irritation.
• He has the entire student handbook memorized. He could read it backwards, probably.
• Tsubasa's spells of violence are often talked about before anyone ever meets Tsubasa. He's very humiliated by this fact.
• Tsubasa only knows Japanese, but he's kind of an America-boo. He finds their poltiical history fascinating, and knows a few english words here and there.
