About

Stephen attended university up until he died to hopefully get a BA with a photomedia concentration. He's always had an interest in photography and travelling, his family would go on roadtrips often. He had a really close bond with both his parents and his grandparents on his mother's side especially. Because he liked hearing his grandmother and grandfather's stories so much, he seemed to take interest in things from an "older generation" more, and also didn't really find a need to have a smartphone (He does have a red flip phone though). Since Stephen would go on hikes or walks with his family as bonding, he really likes doing that as a hobby to- Especially to lakes, rivers, or on beaches. He also loves most animals, and enjoys reading books. After his grandfather passed away, shortly followed by his grandmother out of stress and sadness, he was devastated. He spent a long time trying to cope and realize that death is apart of life, but he got bittersweet feelings whenever he thought of them. Yet he didn't want to forget about them ever, so his mother and father decided to get him a locket with a picture of him with his grandparents. He still wears it to this day and even after death. It's his most prized posession.

Death

One day when his friends took him to go ziplining to get his mind off of school and other things, they thought it would help him get rid of his fear of heights if he realized all the beautiful views he could see from up high instead of on the ground. It took a lot of coaxing and pleading for Stephen to wearily buckle himself up into the ziplining seat over a forested hill, but at the last minute, he tried to back out and unbuckle the harness. Unfortunately, as he was trying to take off the harness against the advice of the zipline supervisor, he lost his balance and fell over the deck. Since it was such a high height, he wound up falling to his death.

Relationships

Ichigo  [ friend ]

An upbeat and good-natured girl, Stephen and Ichigo immediately hit it off well. They first met in an art class they shared at the college they attended- While most other people knew about the fact Ichigo was a well-known social media artist, since all Stephen has is a flip phone, he was able to genuinely get to know her well without knowing she was popular. She often tries to get Stephen to be more "trendy".

Quinn  [ friend ]

Another classmate at the college he attends, they both shared a general English lecture class and happened to sit next to each other. Stephen was blown away at how hard-working Quinn was in everything he did, yet modest and easy-going and friendly. They don't see eye to eye on everything, but Stephen values Quinn as a friend just the same.
