Fiercely loyal, aggressive, yet secretively affectionate, Hubris is a small creature with a personality beyond her size. This strange Toybi is rarely seen far from Aro's side. Her attitude can be described as 'Hot and Cold', she often snaps at Aro, biting when the Kami wishes to pet her, and yet she refuses to let the Kami out of her sight, attacking anyone who tries to get to close when the Toybi doesn't trust them. She often refuses the affections of Aro, refusing to be held, petted or cuddled. However, once the Kami goes to sleep, Hubris will often curl up beside her head.

Hubris is not a creature native to Aurora Land. She originates from the alternative world of Wonderland. Left in a bag at a large banquet for whomever picked her seat - only to be stolen by Aro. Aro had been expecting treasure or a magical item, but when she saw the tiny Toybi, she couldn't leave her behind and so took her back with her to Aurora Land. Hubris is currently the only Pixi Toybi in Aurora Land.
