- He refers to the tuft on his head/helmet as his hair.

Cricket is curious, naive, and friendly. He likes to help, but is not always successful at it. He's oblivious and honest to a fault, lacking life experience and taking things very literally. Cricket wants to fit in and be liked.
He tends to act like manners are required, and his first instinct when encountering a closed door is to knock on it. He doesn't want to be rude, and without missing a beat will introduce himself and bow to anyone he encounters - be they an ally, a potential mark, or a common city pigeon.
- Cricket frequently tries to cook for his friends.
- When hanging out in a tavern, Cricket pretends to drink.
- His armor is hollow.
- Cricket is a talented dancer.
- He has no mouth, but can pour potions into his porous face mask.
Formerly owned by a noble family, Cricket's role was to teach their child fencing and do minor housework. When the family fell on hard times, Cricket, who at the time was named Phillipe Needlesong, was put in magical stasis and sold as a collector's item. He changed hands many times and was not reactivated until a thief named Ravi, determined to prove himself, stole him from an antique collector and unintentionally reactivated him. He adopted a new name for a new life, "Cricket," and became a rogue under Ravi's... dubious leadership. Generally cheerful and willing to help, Cricket knows little about the world but is full of a naive curiosity and enthusiasm for life.
