- Caenan is his true birth name, but Caspian is his inherited royal name because he holds the strongest crystallization power, made from the most powerful type of water that's named after a jewel: Caspian.
- He is the third prince of the Kingdom of Crystals, an eastern island made up of powered ice and glass crystals.
- He can both crystallize and produce and manipulate water, so he is often depended on to erase large areas of fire. He can form massive crystals in a short amount of time.
- His shoulder pauldron, attached to the royal cape, is a magic tool entrusted by the royal family. Control of his crystals and the volume of their water is further enhanced by wearing the pauldron. Without the pauldron, he must add to his crystallizing mantra an extra line to improve his magic control. While this is simple for him, adding precision does use a slight bit of time.
