Kowa is someone who likes to learn new things and explore the world. He's an outgoing person and despite his failed attempts at befriending people, he still tries his best to socialize normally.
Kowa is very affectionate to people he's close with, however, now that he's living in the city, he's concerned on how to not overstep others' boundaries.
Whenever Kowa is by himself (or thinks he's by himself), his mood changes randomly and he starts overthinking random scenarios to the point where he would shout and say self-deprecating things.
Kowa grew up in a village and was raised by his mom. Kowa never got to see his dad since his dad left the village to have a career in a city. Kowa's dad was working in a city to earn money for his family and even though Kowa has never met him in person, he did chat with his father or talked to him through his mom's phone.
When Kowa grew up, he told his mom he wanted to meet his father soon and she told him he can meet him again when he's done with high school, and so Kowa decided to work hard to move out of the village and live with his father.
After graduating from high school, Kowa bid his mom and his friends goodbye before leaving the village. When Kowa arrived at the city, he felt incredibly anxious. Everything was new to him and he kept getting lost. Kowa's dad then looked for him and after finding Kowa, Kowa was elated to meet his father and live with him.
Kowa's dad taught him about the city and showed him around not only the city, but his workplace as well. Kowa found the city amazing, but he was uncomfortable with the people since he was used to seeing many friendly people in his village.
Seeing what his dad had to go through, Kowa looked for courses to take and decided on studying video production. It was hard for him to be around such cold people, but he managed to get used to it. Despite living with his dad, he was always at work and it made Kowa lonely to the point where he would buy stuffed toys for himself and hug them to sleep. He felt extremely lonely in the city and wished he can make friends.
Up to this day, he still has a hard time befriending people, but soon he'll be able to adjust to the city life.
Kowa loves Risu the most and is obnoxiously affectionate with him, though he can sense when Risu is annoyed so he stays away. No matter where they go, Kowa is always following Risu and sometimes he would hold hands with him.
