HISTORY
Ivan was born on the 5th of May, 1962, to a middle-class family in Velikhov, Aglandia. His father, Andrei Smirnov (b. 1924), was an electrician, and his mother, Serena Sciarra (b. 1935), was an Armanian-born solicitor. He has two brothers, Milan (b. 1957) and Shura (b. 1974). In his early childhood, he had a pet cat named Sasha.
When he was in primary school, he befriended his classmate and neighbour, Boris Saburov. They became very close, and they maintained contact when Boris moved to Dristol in 1978 due to his mother's occupation.
He attended the State University of Razel upon leaving gymnasium, graduating in 1984 with a degree in engineering. After that, he moved to Dristol for his postgraduate studies. He found work as a safety inspector in a Lagiola factory in Temhesleigh, Greater Crynaria.
The Deity of Order granted him his abilities in 1991, following a workplace accident.
