an oblique tiger-esque denizen traveling alongside human.
he is indifferent to most things that happen to him, though he knows when to stay behind.
he can speak, but doesn’t open or move his mouth to do so. his eyes glow when he is talking instead.
they are very indirect and often speak more in riddles and quotes than actual sentences. he tells a lot of stories with a vague moral to interpret that he thinks will help.
they seem to express appreciation through favors and unspoken gifts, though they never bring this up.
he is full of insects and can release some of them by opening his mouth.

design

he very rarely changes expressions, and a smile is his default. his mouth doesn’t open unless he is releasing bugs.
his eyes glow yellow when speaking. the intensity of the glow relates to the volume of his voice, faint when whispering / humming / etc. and bright when yelling / calling across a room / etc.
he always has a tie, but its appearance changes sometimes.
