Baba is known to be a compassionate and gentle siren, which is almost impossible to believe considering his vicious species. He’s shy, incredibly so! Poor fishy can’t even communicate without stuttering or falling into a huge blushing mess. When it comes to his songs, he uses his luscious voice to tame and befriend fellow sea creatures instead of luring them for food. He, as well, uses his voice to guide pirates and lost shipmates to desolate caves and abandoned islands in order to help them locate valuable gold and treasure. He'll also bring human-sized clams ashore for them to collect the pearls inside. Among his siren brothers and sisters, he is regarded as an oddball because, unlike them, he has no desire to harm men at sea. He's truly a generous soul.
He enjoys discovering hidden treasure and items of sentimental value. His cave is filled with expensive products and jewels galore, and he's fiercely protective of them, becoming aggressive when they're touched. He keeps his cave apart from the rest of the sirens in case they attempt to snatch anything that belongs to him. Despite his kind nature, he is extremely vain and holds a tremendous amount of narcissism in his blood. He believes he is the most beautiful creature at sea and will stare at himself through reflections for hours upon hours, extolling his charm and good looks. He has an exaggerated sense of self-importance and a strong desire for undivided attention and respect. Grandiosity, an overwhelming desire for admiration, and an inability to empathize are among his more negative characteristics. When he is wronged, he will become resentful and abusive.
