sapphire and corundum met deep in the ruins of an old gem structure on earth.. being from completely different segments of homeworld infrastructure, they would normally have never met. separated from her friends, sapphire foresaw meeting another gem, and sought her out, only to have gotten lost. corundum heard her quiet, longful singing and searched the whole ruin to find her. needing to break her out of a tight space, corundum demonstated her strength under pressure and freed the sapphire. grateful and joyful, peacock sapphire introduced herself and escaped with yellow corundum, taking her back in the direction of her friends. it was a bit of a journey, and the two got to know each other quite well on the way there.
they got along well, really well, and when sapphire told corundum of the gems in her group that would fuse, corundum became quite curious with the concept. obviously fusion had never been allowed on homeworld, so it really caught her eye. they tried nervously to fuse, sapphire not showing it but being just as nervous as the other. despite numerous attempts they were still unable to fuse.
it took months of time spent among the others nad growing together to be able to reach that point, but once they had fused once, it was an experience they would never forget. being tsavorite, being herself and themselves was an awestriking, heartfelt experience of two gems who had slowly but certainly fallen in love.
carnelian and her friends have found a new refuge in little homeschool, having a house for themselves where they pursue their further 'education'. they have taken up various jobs and roles around little homeschool, and enjoy the peace.
