Zedgest has been convinced of his superiority since childhood. He prefers the enduring, old fashioned manner of making contracts with fine print and carefully written loopholes, to be signed in blood of one kind or another. His penchant for making deals leads him to Earth quite often.

As a result of time spent on Earth, he became fascinated by their concept of currency. This then led to an obsession with obtaining and using human money, despite having no need of it whatsoever as a daemon. He takes great pleasure in mortal creature comforts, especially if it means having something others cannot.

He once worked very hard to earn his father, the Devil's, ear for a time to try and convince him to corporatize Hell, using large scale monopolies and corporations as a model to base off of. Rather than convince him with his carefully planned pitch, he was mocked and degraded for his human-like thinking.

Laughed out of Hell's capitol, he's made it his goal to take the throne of the Devil to achieve his ideals.

Unfortunately for him, he's both weak, far too prideful to see his own shortcomings, and heavily disliked by all of his siblings. So it's unlikely he'll ever get close.

Trivia

• He presents a kind and friendly demeanor to strangers of all ilk, often playing off their personalities to appear more approachable and trustworthy to them. For those not blinded by their own greed or obliviousness, it's very obvious that there's no sincerity behind these actions. /li>
• Pretty sexist. Believes all women to be vain, weak, and desperate.
• Deeply disdains his siblings, who he considers to be less intelligent than him with far smaller "visions" than his own. No one really cares, since no one actually likes him anyway.
• Zedgest is one of the Princes who believes his placement in the rankings reflects his own social standing enough that he desperately attempts to raise his number. Unfortunately for him, being weak, he has to swindle, trick and cheat his way up. All valid methods of progression, but once one passes the 150 mark, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage. He's been stuck for a while.
