Ryllae Lular

When Ryllae was younger, her team could take on the world. Almeric, Raphael, and Lucius... she has many fond memories of each of them. Imprisoning evil wizards, saving guilds from their downfall, and for Ryllae specifically -- healing her friends each time they got hurt. 

As they aged they each took on different roles in life. Raphael ended up serving time... Almeric is the king of a country... and Lucius runs a bar. Ryllae took on guild master at Phoenix Wing, following her predecessor Minerva.  She fell in love with Yume after a mission where she brought her back to the guild. They spent time together and eventually, Ryllae proposed. They married and ran the guild together... sort of. Yume mostly slept. Shortly after, a child found her way into her arms. Adopted without a second thought, Maggie was always part of the Lular family. 

Before she knew it the guild was in full swing! Bustling full of children and adult alike. Ryllae could look around and feel peace in her heart, everyone was happy and everything made sense. Then, another curve ball hit. A small purple child found her way to their meager lighthouse, toppled from the waves with a small purple exceed collapsing at her side. Ryllae, as the caretaker that she was, scooped them both up to bring them inside. The child was no more than 8 or 9 years old and seemed alone. 

After a long explanation about dragons and an island where she was abandoned, Ryllae offered her a home. With her Yume and Maggie at Phoenix Wing. To her joy, the small girl named Vesi accepted and quickly became one of the rowdiest around.

Ryllae had it all. 

Until her guild fell apart. Until members started dying, stealing, and fighting. She could feel it falling apart from the inside out and... there was nothing she could do to stop it. She was powerless after surrendering her magic to save a life... all her friends had scattered to the wind... and then both of her daughters abandoned her. Ryllae and Yume retired after a long battle with herself and eventually fell into a spiral of loss, hiding in a cabin surrounded by flowers to fill the void in her heart. 

After... years both of her daughters returned. Changed, grown, and in a new guild. Ryllae was frazzled enough to just enjoy the fact that her daughters were back, uncaring about anything else. It doesn't matter that they were both on the 'enemies' side. They were still her children. 

She lives out her days with Yume now, cooking for guests and gardening. She has grandchildren and a stable life, finally. She doesn't ask for much more than that. She only hopes that things will stay this way.
