DIAMÁNTI, the tower witch with a greedy nature. She appears in the form of a giant pillar at the center of her barrier, the top of which is carved with four faces out of diamond and each showing a different expression. Diamánti turns her heads to perpetually watch for visitors to her realm, but their welcome depends on the face that spots them. Water fills up the barrier when the sad face is present, oppressive light for the happy face, burning heat for the angry face, and utter darkness for the peaceful expression. She has arms of stone that reach down and entrap enemies, stuffing them into the cage at her center. Atop the crown on her head is a final fifth face, completely devoid of expression except for a mouth open in a silent scream.

Barrier

The barrier opens into a flat pit at the center of which is Diamánti, acting as the support and catalyst for change within and appearing like an ancient tower or temple. Various patios and landings rise up the sides of the pit to allow for visitors to get close to the witch and curry her favor. The pit is filled with white hot sand that continually rises, causing any puellae who enter to remain on the move. Chanting in a young girl's voice can be heard from the deeper recesses of her temple, within the cage. If not drawn to the cage itself by the disembodied voice, intruders and visitors both must contend with Diamánti's many faces and the traps they lay.

Familiars

She has three familiars: Roumpíni, Zafeíri, and Smarágdi. Roumpíni appears as a flickering candle enrobed in red cloth, whose main duty is to clean up between the ever-changing moods of Diamánti. She appears from her mistress' angry face, emerging from her eye sockets. Zafeíri is a round and shining blue orb that travels between the sloped landings to knock visitors and intruders into a long fall. She appears from Diamánti's sad face, cried out before waves of water come splashing down her cheeks. Smarágdi appears as a cat made of green crystal at the apex of the witch, protecting her most vulnerable face with sharp claws and gemstone teeth. She does not appear from any face, and instead acts as Diamánti's final sentinels.
