About
Strong in both heart and body, Rue is a force to be reckoned with. She is full of confidence and positivity, which radiates in such a way that it is bound to leave a smile on other's faces. She loves hard, plays hard, and fights hard, loving a good scrap as much as she does making new friends. While she may be a welcoming, friendly force, she tends to get familiar far too quickly and some of her playful aggression can be too much. However, she respects boundaries and respects those who speak up for them if you are someone she cares about, and she has friends in spades. If you cross her, she will expend that same boundless energy to make you eat dirt, either literally or figuratively. Rue is not one for grudges but she does tend towards jealousy at times and is not quiet about it. Again, reinforcement of boundaries is all that is needed and everything will be right as rain.
Fighting Style
Rue practices Silat Pattani, a form of Silat Melayu martial arts native to Thailand and Malaysian cultures. The style draws heavily from the Thai concept of opposites and Vedic practices, including aspects of animism. The forms that are practiced model animals and require meditation for some of the more advanced steps. They also place more emphasis on freestyle sets, or tari, which are similar to dance performances and show off the fighter's dextrous nature. She is proficient in the deer, monkey, and snake, but still struggles with peace of mind needed for meditation for the harder forms. She wishes to find a master that will teach her the necessary steps, while she needs a master who will guide her in quieting her mind and being at peace with the elements.

Rue's beloved big sister, who was taken when Rue was still an infant. She never knew much about her aside from little details from family and pictures on the mantleplace, but she has since been making up for lost time. The two sisters are growing ever closer, now that Rue lives nearby.
partner-in-crime
They came into Rue's life when Daiyu re-entered it, and Rue is more than grateful for this curdmudgeon tanuki. She often bothers Yo before club opening for noodles, pestering them to teach her to cook, or ganging up with them on Shen (much to the latter's amusement, for sure).
sister's boyfriend
Having just gotten her sister back, Rue is a little protective at having to divide Daiyu's time with Shen, whom she sees as a tall brick house with only a grumpy old man at home. As she is just a kid, however, all it amounts to is jealousy over her sister's boyfriend taking her time.
