Appearance

Due to his nature, Error looks nearly identical to Obsidian in build. He is a stocky cat with long black fur and red stripes. His eyes have red sclera with a grey iris. He has a tuft of fur on his head that is dark grey. Hidden by his fur ruff, he has a long scar stretching across his chest.

As a passenger in Obsidian’s body, he obviously wears the same items of clothing as him. He wears a long brown coat and a grey-blue scarf around his neck. He wears a brown newsboy cap with blue-grey patches on it.

Personality

Error can be extensively cruel and angry—but has strict morals nonetheless. He feels that violence is something that shouldn’t be used without reason and gets angry when it is, especially against those he cares about. Those who do find he has a vengeance that doesn’t dim. Because of this, he has a hard time forgiving others, even if they are truly sorry. He’s often skeptical of others’ motives and rarely trusts. He can be pushy and bratty, especially to get what he wants. He has a childish streak, enjoying pranks and unable to understand boundaries, which often gets him in trouble.

Underneath this prickly exterior lies a cat who is very insecure with himself and his existence. He fears that a lot of who he is isn’t something original but merely a holdover from Obsidian. The uncertainty of his eventual fate terrifies him. He greatly fears the idea of being forgotten or simply ceasing to exist. Nonetheless, he keeps up a fiercly confident image and only relays the more sensitive feelings he has to Obsidian, who he views as a brother. When others don’t trust him, he pretends he doesn’t care but is deeply hurt. He wants to be close with others but has difficulty with social cues and behavior.

History

Error was born in a chemical mishap when Obsidian was kidnapped by Maelstrom. Obsidian was rescued and Error lay dormant for a time, eventually showing himself out of annoyance. His actions lead Obsidian onto a trip to find himself and try to help out where he can.

Skills

As a passenger to Obsidian, Error can “hijack” Obsidian’s powers when he's in control of his body. However, he doesn’t know how to use them often so he often relies on his teeth and claws.

Later, when he gains his own body, he gains power over Ink, using it in combat via his own “blood” which is ink.

Trivia

• Error’s origin was as a “corrupted” side of Obsidian when he was a Pokemon OC, created by exposure to a glitch via The Time Maelstrom. He was much more malevolent than he is currently.
