Description
Theo is the son of Amir and Bryn - two moderately high-ranking members of The Family. Because of this (and esp. his father's desire to become the godfather), Theo underwent harsh martial training from the day he could walk. Never having witnessed a "normal" life, Theo does his best to fit into the family's dynamics and fulfill his parents' expectations. He showed promising talent in sneaking and sleight-of-hand tasks and quickly became an invaluable asset for any heist or related plan.
When he met his then-friend, now-partner Quasi and found out they were stuck in a cult, he organized a rescue mission with help from The Family. Although they managed to sucessfully remove Quasi from the situation, a mistake on Theo's part caused Quasi's parents to be seriously injured. This resulted in the cult's council setting a bounty on Quasi's head and consequently Theo having to convince The Family to take in Quasi as one of their own. Theo would never let Quasi know what actually happened on the night of the breakout, letting them believe the council set the bounty purely because they had managed to escaped.
Nowadays, he happily lives together with Quasi inside The Family's territory. Both of them are completely loyal to The Family and enjoy their jobs, despite the bad reputation.

Quasi
[ partner ] Theo loves Quasi more than anything else. They're his safe heaven; spending time with them is always guaranteed to give Theo comfort. He would do anything for their safety and is more than ready to go to extreme lengths to prove that. He supports their every endeavor, and in return, they support him. Although Quasi tends to worry immensely about Theo's safety, they trust each other enough to make up for it.
Amir
[ father ] Amir is a very strict father who holds impossible expectations for Theo, his only child. Theo likes to think that he got used to it over the years and doesn't really feel pressured by it nowadays, but that's a lie. He internalized a lot of Amir's expectations and teachings, and always presents himself as better than he actually is while his father is around. All of Theo's insecurities can be traced back to Something Amir said or did. Despite all of that, he loves his dad and believes that he only wants the best for him. Maybe Amir just isn't the best at expressing himself?
Bryn
[ mother ] Where Theo's dad overestimates him, his mom underestimates him. Bryn is a very busy women who was rarely home to actually raise Theo in the first place, causing him to be raised in The Family's daycare instead. She only ever caught glimpses of who Theo is, so the few mistakes and insecurities he opened up to her about in the hopes of getting a mother's love resulted in her assuming he is too weak for their line of work and should try to look into less difficult work. He assumes it's out of her misguided will to protect him, but it still very much upsets him to be judged this poorly after all the hard work he accomplished. He feels very bitter about it and thus doesn't really have a good relationship with her.
Hearts
[ older cousin/caretaker ] Since Theo's parents rarely had time for him, he used to spend a lot of his time in The Family's daycare, where Hearts worked. She quickly became aware of his situation and begun giving Theo extra attention, which Theo never realized. The only thing he knew was that she was really nice and sweet and always made him feel better about himself. She was the first (and only, for a very long time) person he felt he could open up about his issues to, and she made sure to give him good advice wherever possible. Hearts was also the one who convinced Spades to go along with the plan to rescue Quasi. Despite being an adult now, Theo still visits Hearts every so often just for the sake of it.
ZK
[ coworker ] Theo thinks ZK is The Coolest. He loves working with him & listening to his wild theories. Many of Theo's speech mannerisms are copied from ZK. He is the only one Theo doesn't mind hearing through his in-ear on missions.
