Description

Quasi grew up in a angel society cult (the "Fairy Cult") - a group of mothcats who consider themselves to be angels. Their parents were cherubs, the second highest class of angels, and thus were highly devoted to following the many rules of the cult.
When Quasi's big brother Gabe got outcast for dating non-angel and gang-related Pyria (despite her getting cursed by the council as a warning), their parents got even more ruthless in fear of being demoted or outcast themselves.
At that time, Quasi was friends (lovers-to-be, perhaps) with a non-angel girl called Ophelia. When their parents found out, they cursed her before the council could find out and ordered Quasi to break off any contact with her. Scared out of their mind, they broke off contact immediately in order to protect her life. Despite feeling incredibly rueful, they knew it was the only right decision.
Now living sadly in solitude, they started resenting the cult and longed to escape it just as their brother did. But with no way to contact him, they couldn't get any help.
That is, until they met the unassuming non-angel gang-related Theo, who they befriended secretly. Soon, Theo found out about their family's secret. He immediately crafted up a plan to break Quasi out of the cult's grasp once and for all - with help from The Family.
The eventually executed breakout turned out to be a success, although the council subsequently set out a bounty for Quasi's head - forcing them into hiding amongst The Family with Theo. The Family promised them protection in return for their allegiance, which they pledged gladly. Nowadays they work for The Family's daycare, where they take care of the member's children. They love their work and are genuinely happy to have found The Family, despite their negative reputation.
