Lerke

Physical Description: Short in heigth and rather lean, short legs, sharp white claws, the ears are huge in size with one cut on the left ear, the eyes are big and expressive, tuft on head

Clothing Style: Often a bit large, but Giacometti tries to provide appropriate clothing for her

Personality: Cheerful and very curious, clingy, stubborn, cunning, rather reckless and brutal by times.

Likes: To be with her adoptive family, a warm place in front of a chimney or in the sun, food, collecting and playing with knives (throwing them e.g.), killing (insects and mice ...)

Dislikes: Rules, being scolded, being told to fall in line with society, Demetrius and the clergy (apart from Judith) ...

Family: Deceased. Adopted by Eckhard.


Trivia: 

• her family used to run a bakery. Lerke, just a few years old back then, used to help in the bake house as good as she was able to
• one harsh winter however the roof of her home that was in need of renovation wasn't freed from snow early enough and collapsed. Lerke ended up being an orphan. When she looked for help she stumbled across Demetrius who wasn't believing the kitten to be in need of help, and hurried to keep an appointment. 
• The young cat was adopted by Eckard - the self-appointed "rat and pest king" - and was raised as a member of his secret guild. She got a place to live on the timber of the blacksmith's forge
• Lerke never forgave the priest and started occasionally stealing from him later on or vandalizing his garden.
• The cat knew that Demetrius didn't get along with Judith and thus searched her company to work for her
• Lerke was gifted a dagger by Giacometti
• She never wanted to blend into society and thus enjoys walking on all fours often
