• Vitello was the first born and came from a noble family, which wanted to expand their power reach and thus tutored him early-on
• he enjoyed to practise reading out loudly while his sister Judith listened back in his childhood
• his parents envisioned him to become the new bishop and lead the diocese one day. Vitello's personality didn't really reasonated with their wish and he couldn't find his ways in their predefined path. He however enjoyed helping others and tried to fullfil the role of a priest as good as possible. His views remained too libertine though which lead to troubles within the clergy
• he used to get along well with Demetrius despite their contrary personalities. Vitello had a cushioning balance effect to Demetrius' rather reckless personality traits
• he often had loud disagreements with Jean-Baptiste, who was a priest as well, back in the day. He accused Vitello of blasphemous tendencies as the silver fox tried to implement new free-spirited ideas into the church and behaved way too lax with the question of faith; he deemed him unfitted to the position.
Despite having broken off contact with the rest of his family, Judith and him were inseparable siblings until the very end - and beyond.
Due to Vitello's jovial attitude and persistence to offer help and guidance, Demetrius had opened up to him at some point. The two became best friends and later on, romantic partners in secret.
Jean-Baptiste and Vitello have contradicting personalities and opinions, and on top aim for the same position of power - the two never got along.
