Physical Description: Small, sturdy, prominent tom-cat cheeks and thick throat, small triangular ears, thick eye brows and aging fur. Eyes are awake and piercing.

Clothing Style: Usual formal black soutane with red buttons and red cincture, cross worn on neck

Personality: Proud, strict, pious, short-temperate, close-lipped, obstinate, quick-tempered, orderly, assertive, dominant

Likes: To be left alone at his own place, to celebrate mass, to read and educate himself, to celebrate mass, to get the best bite of every meal, to celebrate mass, to be of importance, to be the right hand of the king

Dislikes: Being questioned in his authority, chaos of any kind, loud people, unloyalty, noise, children, sharing food, Demetrius being unable to keep up his paperwork, Tiberius, everybody who doesn't share his faith and disobeys him.

Trivia: 

• it isn't known much about about his ancestry and background
• The tom-cat was around when King Herold slaughtered King Denario and expelled all his entourage into the swamp to took over his fertile territor. He always prove loyality to his King and thus was appointed his right hand
• Jean-Baptiste works as the stadtholder of his diocese
• when he still was a priest still, the former Bishop entrusted him with bringing up Demetrius as he could not do so himself due to the immense size difference. Jean-Baptiste wasn't keen of this task and thus raised the young fox the only we he knew: With severity. The young fox eventually found himself neglected later began showing problems socializing when socializing with others. As the tom-cat doesn't share his food, the fox was raised ascetic.
• Before Jean-Baptiste was designated a cardinal, a silver fox family moved into the lands. He scornfully watched the nobles infiltrate the hierachical structures and feared for the future he envisioned for himself. He especially felt challenged by Vitello, a young priest, who found having a good connection to the general population.
• As the tom-cat is capable of every measure to achieve his goals, he was able to get rid of his opponent
  
• He keeps Demetrius commited to his self by keeping him small and dependant. The hierarchy however got out of balance when Demetrius gave absolution to Tiberius, who had fallen to disgrace,and had to swear loyality in return.
