Geriel is a human, approximately 29 years of age, who travels the world on an airship with her companions. Her role there is essentially to keep morale up, but she is also a skilled herbalist and very well learned (as of very recently, she also has the only spyglass on the ship). Her home country of Belil is very closed-off with a culture similar to Mongolian tribelands, and she found it difficult to leave. She escaped with a couple of travelling trolls (husbands who own a tea trading company) and has been inspired by their pseudo-adoption (and her knowledge of plants) to start her own tea company.
Personality
Geriel is known for her...abrupt sense of honesty. Cheery to chat with and usually open and witty, she doesn't seem to harbour much pain (outwardly) but her often open mouth can sometimes get her into trouble. Especially when it's casting magic she's not very skilled at! Always open to laughter, she seems to have closed her heart off a little after her past and only enjoys verbal sparring with others. Nobody has really cracked closer into her personal bubble just yet; but she's softening. One of the most important things to her is learning who she is, slowly, and what having independence means.

Skill One
Language of the Stars:
Geriel was taught this magic style - that of small illusions, communicating in whispers and diving the future - by her late wife Tuya. It was designed for her to use as a parlour trick to entertain guests, but as it turns out...being able to see the pasts of fellows is incredibly useful.
Skill Two
Skill in the Bow:
Having been taught to shoot by another garyem member, and trained to kill by Nergui, a closer companion, Geriel is pretty proficient at using a bow when needed.
Skill Three
Honeyed Words:
Used to socialising with nobles and the elite, both in entertaining them and buttering them up. She has used this skill many times, both in her previous life in the garyem - seducing, coaxing, comforting - and in her new life after escaping Belil. It certainly helps with trading!
Skill Four
Keen Eyes:
Growing used to spotting danger, Geriel is learning about the dangerous ways of the world and the people that live in it.
