Vax's brother who's fairly fed up with him. Tired, somewhat timid, and emotionally distant corporate lawyer with a wife and kids (one of whom is our protagonist). Sometimes wonders what his life would be like if he'd chosen to go down the same path as his brother but is too settled in a comfortable white-collar life to ever consider villainy. Outwardly he seems to have few interests outside of work, but he does enjoy writing science fiction when he manages to have time alone. (his stories are very technical and dry. characters who have zero development but he'll write plenty of detail about how some future machine works.) Vax tends to pester him for money every once in a while (often using London's son as a messenger), and he'll usually begrudgingly send him a check. As work eats up more and more of his time he's become distant from his family. Late 30s to early 40s?
