"What the fuck are you fighting for?"

Canary is a young adult who got into the rocker life in their teens. They grew up as an only child in a Corporate Suburb, raised by smothering Techie parents who wanted them to follow in their footsteps. When they were 16, a Nomad pack took over their neighborhood and gave them two options: give up their belongings and live the life of a wanderer, or bring their tech expertise to the gang. Canary took the second option, shedding their name and naivety. The Nomads treated them well, but when an 18-year-old Canary announced their dream to become a rocker they were met with opposition. The leader of the pack didn't want to disturb the balance of power that was already in place, even if it meant things might change for the better. Disgusted by this selfishness, Canary suited up with new cybernetics, packed their gear, and split with the pack for good.

Canary is a decently-established rocker, with a strong and loyal fanbase along the coast. They have an audience who is eager to hear about the corruption not only in the Government and mega Corporations, but also in the Fixer gangs and Police forces who claim to take care of things on the street. Their experiences have made them wary towards any kind of self-proclaimed authority figure, but they are more than willing to work with people if everyone agrees to be on equal footing. Canary has a distaste for authorities picking on the destitute, but is okay with letting coddled upperclass middle men take the fall if they think the payoff will be worth it- that's just show biz, baby.

Canary is arrogant, rebellious, and blunt. They value their own needs first and foremost, but will offer assistance to others as long as it doesn't constrain their freedom. Their sense of familial bonds is understated despite their Nomadic background, and they have no particular interest in finding out if their parents are still alive or dead.
