Early life.

Yuno Grimlock is the daughter of the Grim reaper. She’s impulsive, a hopeless romantic, and Hot headed. She tends to be extremely sassy and rude to people she doesn’t know. When you get to know her you start to find out that she’s very sensitive and a compassionate person. Yuno struggles with the idea of not being good enough After being rejected the role of the Grim Reaper’s apprentice, because of that she is always striving to improve herself to become on top. Even though some say it’s a good quality to have, Yuno strives too much often getting her in more trouble. She can be extremely stubborn as well, not willing to listen thinking she knows how to fix things. Yuno loves fashion and cute things causing her to make irrational decisions and ultimately regrets them in the end. An example of this is Yuno's love life as she constantly dates guys based on their looks rather than their personalities. Towards her friends Yuno is very supportive and protective as she is often seen giving advice or encouraging them. When mad Yuno tends to like to confront the issue and won’t back down from a fight.

Yuno's struggle to become a reaper is due to her fear of death because of her mother. Struggling with the conflicting feelings of loving life but also wanting to become a reaper for her father, Yuno pushes back her feelings of death to pursue her legacy. The real reason for Yuno wanting to become a suitable angel of death is so that she can stay with her father in heaven.

Yuno gets afraid of being left alone and losing everyone she loves. That’s why she’s willing to push her feelings aside to appease others because she wants everyone to stay with her.

Yuno was born from forbidden conception between a human mother and her grim reaper father. Often called a Nephilim because of this conception. Yuno was very close to her mother for the early half of her life. After her mother succumbed to a mystery illness and shortly died after, Yuno was forced to watch the reaping of her mother as her first lesson as a reaper. From there on Yuno has dealt with an unconscious fear of the people around her dying. 

Yuno started to notice a boy with white hair coming by her home more often with her father. At first the young girl was suspicious of anything and actually wanted to become friends with him as one time she offered chocolate to the mysterious boy but was coldly denied. Yuno eventually the boy was named Takashi and he was to become the replacement heir of the grim reaper unknown to her but ultimately was decided by her father. Yuno confronts her father on the issue but promptly ignored. From that day on, her relationship with her father was gained and the boy known as Takashi was to become yuno’s greatest enemy.

Current Timeline:

After the Grand Arc proposed the investigation about the World Line, Yuno took that opportunity in a chance to prove herself to heaven. She's been on earth  for 5 years looking for the Culprit and is currently working with Takashi.
