Nao is a normal college student/blogger and Yuno’s best friend. His brother took Yuno in when she first came to earth at age 17 and they’ve been friends ever since (though he has a huge crush on her). Nao to outsiders seems overall friendly, positive, and very charismatic. He's very sociable and fun to be around. Though the more you get to know him you realize he’s very egoistic and passive aggressive. He loves to dress in eccentric harajuku inspired fashion and runs a blog talking about it.

I.
Early life
When Nao was younger he was very close to his family. He especially loved his mother and brother but when he witnessed the death of his parents due to a car accident, Nao blamed himself because the same day he asked for his parents to drive back around and get his toy. This event and other events caused by his relatives made him a shell of his former self. After the accident his relationship with Haruko also suffered as Haruko traveled around the world with his Uncle and Nao was left behind with his Aunt.

Mysterious girl
During Nao’s high school years he went to live with his brother. One very day Haruko brought back a mysterious girl named Yuno and she started to live with them. At first, Nao didn’t like the girl but after spending years together, and Nao's newfound confidence, Nao constantly professes his love for Yuno.
III.
Current timeline
In the Current timeline: Yuno and Nao are college students and still Nao doesn’t know anything about Yuno’s true identity. He runs a fashion blog and is pretty famous influencer in his local area. He’s also friends with Cleo and Azariah.
